Aquis Exchange COO Jonathan Clelland to Retire, David Stevens to Succeed

Aquis Exchange plc. (Aquis), an operator of the world's only subscription-based trading venues, announced that its Chief Operating Officer (COO) Jonathan Clelland has informed the Board of his plan to retire in April 2024 at the Company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting. At that time, he will be stepping down from his position as well as from the Board.
David Stevens, Chief Revenue Officer and Head of the Group's Aquis Markets division, will take on the role of COO, while Mr. Clelland will continue to serve as a Special Advisor until his retirement to ensure a smooth transition.
Alasdair Haynes, CEO of Aquis, said: "Jonathan has had a profound influence on Aquis since our inception, having played an integral role in building the finance and operations functions of our business and ensuring we have a solid team in place for the delivery of our strategy."

Clelland has been with Aquis for over 11 years. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Global Reach Group, a London-based forex broker. Clelland has also previously held senior positions at global financial services/technology firms including Investment Technology Group, JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs.
