Aquis Technologies Launches Market Grade 24x7 Exchange, Aquis Equinox

Aquis Technologies, the software & technology division of Aquis Exchange, announced today the launch of the world-first, regulated market-grade 24x7 exchange, Aquis Equinox.

According to the official press release, Aquis Equinox can guarantee continuous operation. "With the ability to run an exchange system without the need for shut-down, our ambition to offer ‘exchanges as a service' has now become a reality," noted Adrian Ip, Managing Director, Aquis Technologies.

The new exchange delivers commercial efficiencies to both existing and start-up exchanges, and substantially reduces the costs of in-house development and staffing, as it is run through a shared ecosystem capable of hosting multiple exchanges under a single matching engine.

"Moreover, through a shared ecosystem in which downtime is not a requirement, Aquis’ matching engine enables the economies of scale to be shared across exchange platforms, delivering significant benefits to customers," added Adrian Ip.

Last week, Fazzaco reported that Aquis Exchange has generated net revenue of £20.1 million for the year ended December 31, 2022​, increasing 24% from £16.2 million in 2021.
