Argo Blockchain Completes Court-Sanctioned Restructuring, Eliminates Senior Note Debt

Argo Blockchain plc (NASDAQ: ARBK) has completed its restructuring plan following approval by the High Court of Justice, Business and Property Courts of England and Wales.
The plan became effective on 11 December 2025 and was implemented on 15 December 2025.
As part of the restructuring, Argo increased its nameplate hashrate from approximately 1.8 EH/s to 2.4 EH/s. The company also expanded its self-mining capacity to 28.5 MW, including 13.5 MW of newly acquired infrastructure in Alabama. In addition, Argo secured electrical assets, including 2,500 KVA transformers and switchgear, capable of supporting up to 65 MW of future capacity deployment.
Argo diversified its mining operations by deploying 1,400 Z11 miners for Zcash mining, which are now contributing to revenue amid recent price momentum in the asset.
The restructuring resulted in the equitization of approximately $40 million in outstanding 8.75% senior notes due in 2026, leaving the company debt-free apart from a remaining mortgage balance of about $472,000 on its Baie-Comeau facility.
The company is also assessing opportunities in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing to broaden its revenue base.
Justin Nolan, Chief Executive Officer of Argo Blockchain, said: “Completing this restructuring marks a new era for Argo. Argo has significantly strengthened its balance sheet, expanded its mining footprint, and positioned itself to capture opportunities not only in digital assets but also in the rapidly growing AI and HPC sectors.”
