ASIC Cancels AFS Licence of Ivy League Capital
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has cancelled the Australian financial services (AFS) licence of Ivy League Capital Pty Ltd, effective from 17 November 2025.
The decision comes after the company failed to submit audited financial reports for the year ending 30 June 2022 and all subsequent years as required by regulations. Additionally, Ivy League Capital did not maintain membership with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) scheme, another key compliance requirement for businesses holding an AFS licence.
Ivy League Capital, which was granted AFS licence number 514905 on 5 September 2019, had been authorised to provide a range of financial services, including dealing in deposit and payment products, offering financial product advice, managing investment schemes, and providing custodial or depository services to wholesale clients.
The company now has the option to appeal ASIC's decision through the Administrative Review Tribunal.
