Singapore-based finance platform Aspire has announced that its subsidiary, ASG2 Pte Ltd, has been granted a Capital Markets Services (CMS) Licence by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). This regulatory approval will enable Aspire to expand its service offerings to include investment solutions tailored for Singaporean businesses, according to a company press release.

Aspire has revealed its intention to launch "Aspire Yield," an investment solution that will be integrated into the Aspire Business Account. This new feature aims to provide businesses with a unified platform for both managing their finances and accessing investment opportunities. Aspire highlights that Aspire Yield will offer flexible investment options with no minimum investment requirement, no lock-up periods, and next-business-day liquidity.

In the press release, Aspire stated that this initiative is designed to tackle the challenge faced by small businesses in accessing "competitive" investment opportunities, which the company believes are often reserved for larger corporations with established banking relationships. Aspire further commented, "Without access to investment options, these businesses struggle to optimize their funds while ensuring liquidity, limiting their ability to grow sustainably." Aspire Yield intends to bridge this gap by allowing startups and small businesses to potentially earn competitive returns on their idle capital while maintaining easy access to funds for their operational needs.
