ASX Listings Executive Blair Beaton Departs, Division Merges with Markets Under Darren Yip

Blair Beaton, Group Executive Listings at the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), has decided to depart the business following an extended period of personal leave, according to an announcement from ASX Managing Director and CEO Helen Lofthouse.

Mr. Beaton joined the ASX in 2017 as Chief Strategy Officer and was appointed Group Executive, Listings in August 2022. In his role leading Listings, he was responsible for the origination of listed primary and secondary equity and investment products.

During Mr. Beaton's leave, Group Executive Markets Darren Yip had been providing support and oversight for the Listings business. With Mr. Beaton's decision to step down, the ASX will now integrate the Listings division with Markets, with both operations coming under Mr. Yip's leadership. This organizational change is effective immediately.
