ATFX Renames Rakuten Securities Australia to AT Global Markets (Australia)

​ATFX, a global leading online trading CFDs broker, announced that its Australian business, previously known as Rakuten Securities Australia Pty Ltd, has now been renamed as AT Global Markets (Australia) Pty Ltd. The renamed unit will continue serving retail clients under the brand name "ATFX" and institutional clients under the brand "ATFX Connect" in APAC.

Rakuten Securities Australia Pty Ltd was acquired by ATFX​ from Rakuten Securities, Inc. in July last year, as part of the broker's efforts to strengthen its position in the Australian market.

According to the brokerage firm, the name change is a strategic move to streamline and consolidate its global brand presence, marking a milestone achievement for the company. As part of its global expansion plans, ATFX will move to a bigger new office in Sydney in Q2 this year, demonstrating its continued growth and commitment to providing clients with an exceptional trading experience.

Additionally, the broker is investing in the upgrade of its client portal and server, and integrating an automatic KYC client onboarding system to ensure a seamless and efficient trading environment.
