Axi Extends Sponsorship Deal with Brazilian Football Club Bahia

Axi, an Australia-based Retail FX and CFDs broker, has announced the renewal of its sponsorship agreement with Brazilian Serie A football club Esporte Clube Bahia for an additional two seasons. The initial partnership between Axi and the Salvador-based club commenced in 2023.

Under the terms of the extended deal, the Axi logo will now also be featured on the shorts of Bahia's playing kit during matches for the next two years. This expands upon the previous agreement which saw Axi as a sponsor of the club.

Esporte Clube Bahia, established in 1931, competes in Brazil's top-tier football league, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. The club boasts a history that includes two national league titles and 50 state championships. In 2023, City Football Group acquired a 90% majority stake in Bahia SAF.

Axi confirmed the extension through a social media post, stating, "Axi and Bahia for two more years. We are beyond excited to announce the renewal of our partnership with Brazilian side Esporte Clube Bahia S.A.F. for 2️⃣ more seasons. Furthermore, we’re even more delighted that the Axi brand will now proudly feature on the famous Tricolor kit, further strengthening our bond with the City Football Group."

This extension follows a period of increased activity for Axi in sports sponsorships, including a recent renewal with Manchester City player John Stones as a Brand Ambassador and their ongoing sponsorship of LaLiga club Girona FC. Earlier this month, Axi appointed Pavlina Charalampous as Sponsorship Marketing Executive.
