Bain & Company adds three partners in the Middle East

Source: Consultancy
The Middle East wing of global strategic consulting firm Bain & Company has added three partners to its partnership.
Having relocated from Canada to the United Arab Emirates in 2012, Eric Guraieb then joined Bain & Company as a consultant. In Canada, where he graduated from Concordia University, Guraieb had previously gained consulting experience at operational consulting firm Createch, where he latterly served as a senior consultant.
Guraieb has around 15 years of experience advising private and government-owned clients on strategic topics (corporate strategy, new business ventures), mergers & acquisitions (deals, investments, due diligence) and operational performance improvement (cost transformation, operational excellence, lean, supply chain), mainly in the industrial sector. He was worked on projects in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Also based in Bain’s Dubai office, Anne-Laure Malauzat is a member of the firm’s Retail, Consumer Products and Social & Public Sector practices. She joined the global strategy consulting firm in 2011, and now has nearly a decade of working experience in the Middle East. She has led projects at a range of clients on issues including growth strategy, performance improvement, distribution and sales enhancements, customer experience transformations, commercial due diligence and turnaround.
Malauzat has also led a number of projects for public sector clients around national socioeconomic development, vision planning, government transformation, education, entrepreneurship, workforce planning and innovation. Before joining Bain & Company, she worked and studied in Washington, D.C.
Sami Abdul Rahman has been with Bain & Company since October 2015, when he joined from rival Oliver Wyman. Before that, Abdul Rahman worked nearly four years for fellow MBB major McKinsey & Company, having completed his studies in the US and Lebanon. At Bain, he operates from the firm’s offices in Riyadh and Dubai.
He specialises in helping public sector clients – central government, municipalities and semi-public institutions – with public policy, economic development, private public partnerships, performance improvement and change. He also has significant experience in the tourism, culture and sustainability sectors.
At the start of this year, Bain & Company admitted four of its senior advisors in the Middle East into its partnership. The management consulting firm currently has around 25 partners across its offices in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and is led by the Belgian Tom De Waele.
