Beeks Financial has taken a minority stake in Liquid-Markets-Solutions (LMS), a Swiss company specializing in ultra-fast networking technology for financial trading. The investment grants Beeks exclusive rights to market LMS's ÜberNIC, a product designed to reduce data processing times to sub-microsecond levels.

The ÜberNIC system relies on field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), chips that process information directly in hardware instead of software. This design allows for customized, high-speed performance tailored to financial markets. For high-frequency traders, where milliseconds can translate into significant gains or losses, the hardware-based approach could provide a competitive advantage over traditional setups.

Founded in 2019, LMS has been developing what it calls "network-attached compute" systems, with a presence across the United States, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, and Hong Kong. The company was established by former financial services executives with the aim of addressing industries where speed and reliability are critical.

For Beeks, the investment fits into a strategy of broadening its technology stack and strengthening its foothold in capital markets infrastructure. The company has reported double-digit growth over the past year, with first-half 2025 revenue rising 22% to £15.79 million. Its annualized committed monthly recurring revenue reached £29.2 million by early 2025, reflecting growing demand for its private and exchange cloud services.

CEO Gordon McArthur said the deal is part of a deliberate push to integrate cutting-edge solutions. "Following rigorous testing, we are confident the FPGA-based technology is at the forefront of technological advancement in the industry," he noted.

The partnership follows a string of new contracts, including a $2 million agreement with a global FX brokerage and collaborations with tier-1 investment managers. Beeks has also launched an AI-driven platform for real-time monitoring, underscoring its efforts to stay ahead of industry trends.

Large financial institutions are already showing interest in ÜberNIC, according to both companies. For traders competing at microsecond speeds, the technology could help capture opportunities in volatile markets before rivals can react.
