Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV), Latin America's second-largest stock exchange, has partnered with technology provider Beeks Group to deploy a scalable, private infrastructure aimed at enhancing trading resilience and reducing latency for its members. The infrastructure, to be implemented across primary and disaster recovery sites in Mexico City, is designed to support market growth and innovation while ensuring operational continuity.

The agreement, facilitated through IPC as the contracting party, will see Beeks manage the end-to-end deployment of a dual-site solution. BMV members will gain access to secure, low-latency hosting within the exchange's own facilities, improving execution speeds and reliability. The setup aims to lower barriers to market entry by offering in-colocation services locally, which could attract new participants and increase liquidity.

"This agreement allows us to deliver state-of-the-art technology to our members through Beeks' platform," said Jorge Alegría, CEO of BMV. "With a low-latency private setup deployed locally in Mexico City, we are well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of our market participants, remain at the forefront of innovation, and strengthen our leadership in the region."

Key features of the infrastructure include resilience through dual-site redundancy, reduced latency for faster trading, and scalability to accommodate evolving market demands. By hosting the technology internally, BMV retains control over compliance and security while adopting an infrastructure-as-a-service model to reduce operational complexity.

Gordon McArthur, CEO of Beeks Group, stated, "We're proud to partner with BMV to provide the platform they need to support their market participants and achieve their growth ambitions." The collaboration marks BMV as the fourth major global exchange to implement Beeks' solutions, reflecting a broader trend among exchanges to modernize infrastructure amid rising competition.

The deployment aligns with efforts across Latin America's financial sector to adopt advanced technologies that enhance market access and global competitiveness. Analysts note that such infrastructure investments could serve as a model for other exchanges seeking to balance scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
