Ben Robson Joins Swiss Finance Corporation as Head of Institutional eFX from CGS-CIMB Securities

Fazzaco learned that Swiss Finance Corporation Ltd., a FCA regulated FX broker-dealer, has hired Ben Robson as its Head of Institutional eFX. Ben most recently was Head of Institutional FX EMEA at Asia focused broker CGS-CIMB Securities.

Currently, Ben is also Adjunct Professor- Foreign Exchange Hedging and Risk Management- MSc Finance of International University of Monaco, as well as CEO of Spectrex Commodities, a trading risk management specialists in Monaco. He has spent eight years at Spectrex Commodities, and over four years at International University of Monaco.

Between July2020 and July 2021, Ben served Maybank Investment Banking Group, ASEAN's leading sustainability-first investment bank, as Head of Leveraged FX (London). Prior to that, he was Director- International Business Development at Xenfin Capital, a specialist in the global currency markets.

In addition, Ben has worked at FIXI plc, an independent brokerage house, for more than three years, with roles including CEO Fixi Middle East DMCC and Managing Director Fixi Singapore Pte Ltd.

Earlier, he has spent over five years at MF Global, a brokerage firm offering customized solutions in the global cash and derivatives markets. During this period, he set up MF Global's institutional and retail FX business in Hong Kong before running the regional FX business with FX teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia India and Dubai.
