Bhaskar Ghosh Takes over as global Chief Strategy Officer at Accenture
Multinational professional services company Accenture appoints Bhaskar Ghosh, present adviser to the CEO Julie Sweet , as global Chief Strategy Officer.
Ghosh spent almost 12 years in Accenture, starting his career as a lead for Accenture’s India Delivery Center from 2003 to 2014. Then he spent about 6 years taking over group chief executive for technology services, mainly responsible for the Accenture Application Services business, covering systems integration and application outsourcing. Additionally, he leads platforms, products and global technology delivery.
Before he joined Accenture in 2003, Mr. Ghosh was vice president and global head of IT infrastructure management services at Infosys. Earlier in his career, he held several senior positions with Philips in India, where he worked extensively with the consumer electronics industry.
“Under his leadership, Ghosh helped grow Accenture into a technology industry powerhouse and expanded our data, cloud, and security offerings,”commenting on Bhaskar’s new position, Julie Sweet says.
