Binance Expands Its Global Footprint, Obtains Regulatory Registration in New Zealand

Binance, the leading global blockchain services provider, announced that it has registered as a Financial Service Provider in New Zealand.
At the helm of Binance New Zealand is General Manager Ben Rose, who previously served as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of local tech company CodeHQ. The registration permits Binance to operate in New Zealand and offers a variety of financial services, such as spot trading, NFTs, staking, and more.
"We see New Zealand as a bit of a pioneer, so from that perspective, I think there's a lot to be learned here with our local team working with Kiwis to envisage the future of currency, transactions and the web," the cryptocurrency exchange's CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) said in a statement.
Binance is focusing on strengthening its brand across global markets. It has received the Minimal Viable Product (MVP) license from Dubai's Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) and is planning to open two new offices in Brazil.
