Binance May Be in Talks with 2 Big Indonesian Companies

Fazzaco learned that Binance, one of famous crypto exchanges in the world, is in talks with two of Indonesia’s largest companies, PT Bank Central Asia and PT Telkom, to set up a cryptocurrency exchange in the Southeast Asian country.

PT Bank Central Asia(PT BCA) is controlled by sibling billionaires Budi and Michael Hartono, who are the richest family in the country. PT Telkom Indonesia is a state-owned telecom operator in the country.

PT BCA may form the partnership with Binance through another related entity. However, the talks are still in the early stages and the terms of the partnership may change.

A Binance spokesperson refused to talk about the deal.

“We are supportive of the sustainable growth of the blockchain industry globally and we are constantly looking at business opportunities in every country,” the spokesperson of Binance added.
