Binance Names Co-Founder Yi He as Co-CEO

Binance has appointed its co-founder Yi He as co-CEO, the company announced during Binance Blockchain Week.

The news was revealed by existing co-CEO Richard Teng, who said Yi has been a core member of the leadership team since Binance’s launch. He described the move as a natural next step for the organization.

Teng reiterated Binance’s focus on Web3 development and regulatory compliance. He said the exchange remains committed to becoming a trusted and well-regulated global platform with user interests at the center of its strategy.

He also noted Yi’s role in expanding Binance’s global community and advancing product development.

Commenting on the appointment, Yi said she looks forward to working alongside Teng, citing his experience in regulated financial markets. She said both leaders bring complementary perspectives and aim to guide Binance through a pivotal period for the industry while expanding the company’s footprint and supporting responsible innovation.
