Binance Onboards Steven McWhirter as Director of Regulatory Policy

Fazzaco learned that Binance, the world's leading blockchain and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, has announced the appointment of Steven McWhirter as the company's Director of Regulatory Policy.
Steven brings with 20 years' broad experience in UK, EU and international financial services and gambling regulation covering consumer protection, financial crime and market integrity.
As seen on his Linkedin profile, prior to joining Binance, Steven spent over nine years with the FCA and 12 years in regulatory compliance at the Gambling Commission. Over the course of his career, Steven alao worked as Secretariat of the Global Financial Innovation Network (GFIN).
In his new role, Steven will be responsilble for leading Binance's global regulatory policy team and ensuring that Binance meets the regulatory obligations to the highest standard. Additionally, Steven will also work closely with industry leaders, policymakers, and regulators globally to contribute to the development of a sustainable regulatory framework.
