Binance to Nullify Referral Fees from Prohibited Advertising Channels

Binance will cease awarding referral commissions for new user sign-ups generated through specific prohibited advertising methods, effective March 9, 2026, at 03:00 UTC. The policy targets referrals originating from unauthorized third-party channels, including search engine advertisements and sites that impersonate the official exchange.

The prohibited activities encompass redirecting users from imitation websites or social media accounts, as well as purchasing search ads to promote referral links. The exchange states that its systems will continuously monitor for such violations.

Upon confirmation of a breach, the referring account will be disqualified from receiving associated commissions. For transparency, details of any referral invalidation will be visible directly on the user's Referral dashboard.
