Cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced a cooperation with Startup incubator Station F and a £100 million investment to help French startups working in the crypto and Web3 space to realize part of its "Objective Moon", an initiative announced last November.

Changpeng Zhao, founder&CEO of Binance, explained that the strategic partnership with Station F aims to drive blockchain innovation in France and across Europe. He said:"At Binance, we recognise the quality of French and European tech, crypto and blockchain talent, and we are convinced that with the launch of Binance's major operations and investment in France, we can significantly contribute toward making France and Europe the leading global player in blockchain and crypto industry."

"We are so proud and excited to welcome the leading international player of the web.3 economy to Station F. For all the people willing to better understand blockchain and crypto, we hope this place will help them to enter the Web.3 world", added Roxanne Varza, Director of Station F.

The crypto exchange giant is also promoting expansion efforts in other regions

In addition to its efforts to expand and stabilize the European market, Binance's expansion plans in other regions are also in full swing.

On April 10, the company announced that it had received approval "in principle" from the Financial Services Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market to operate as a broker-dealer for digital assets, and in March, the company successive received local crypto licenses in Bahrain and Dubai last month, which shows Binance's ambitions in deepening its expansion in Middle East.

Furthermore, the crypto provider has chosen Turkey, a Central Asian country, as the pilot country for its new service, launching a customer service center there. Through its app, Binance will provide 24/7 customer care service support to its Turkish customers. If this pilot is successful, the exchange will be ready to expand its services from Central Asia to the world.

In North America, Binance.US has received $200 million in a new funding round. With the completion of the financing, Binance.US has been valued at $4.5 billion, and its global expansion plans will be more strongly funded. As reported, to further expand the size, Binance.US could start a new funding raise in public market.
