Fazacco reported that in the last week of June 2021, Bitcoin whale account remained active with a leading Bitcoin wallet moved 6,713 BTC from a digital wallet to Xapo. And the digital asset weekly fund flows report released by CoinShares showed that at the beginning of July, Bitcoin saw the most inflows totalling US$39m.
"Our heavily touted price-leading Bitcoin whale holder tier have continued their accumulation in July. BTC addresses holding between 100 to 10,000 BTC now own 9.13M coins once again, their highest mark since April 14th. This is 48.7% of the total supply," Santiment mentioned.
However, despite the latest accumulation from the leading Bitcoin accounts, the world's biggest cryptocurrency, tumbling since May, still saw immense selling pressure. In the last 24 hours, BTC's market dominance currently stands at around 44.3%, down by approximately 2% within the last 7 days. Bitcoin's relatively low market share shows a negative signal that suggests interest in BTC remains relatively subdued.
