Bitfinex Selects Simplex to Enable Crypto Purchase with Credit and Debit Cards

Bitfinex, a digital asset trading platform offering state-of-the-art services for digital currency traders and global liquidity providers, has integrated the funding options supported by payment solution provider Simplex.

According to the official press release, this partnership is expected to enable Bitfinex users to purchase digital currencies using credit and debit cards. At the beginning, the crypto exchange will only allow the purchases of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether and Tether Gold with debit and credit cards. However, it has plans to add more cryptocurrency support for the on-ramp services.

Recently, Bitfinex has announced the launch of a regulated investment exchange - Bitfinex Securities​, in the AIFC, which was designed to increase accessibility to a large set of financial products for members who wish to diversify their portfolio. The Bitfinex Securities platform is planned to facilitate the raising of capital for issuers seeking to have their tokenized securities publicly traded through an easily accessible “admission to trading” process.
