Bitfinex to Enable Deposits and Withdrawals for USDt on Kava Blockchain

Bitfinex, a leading digital asset trading platform, announced that customers can now deposit and withdraw Tether tokens (USDt) on the Bitfinex platform using the Kava transport layer. The integration of USDt onto the Kava blockchain provides Bitfinex customers with enhanced accessibility and flexibility in managing their USDt.

Kava is a decentralised blockchain that combines the speed and interoperability of Cosmos with the developer power of Ethereum. Its architecture is designed for optimal protocol growth, which is integrated with Cosmos EVM technology to ensure maximum scalability, speed, security, and developer support. The platform empowers developers to build in their environment without compromising user and asset access. Bitfinex customers can now leverage the Kava blockchain's advanced features to transact with USDt seamlessly.

By enabling deposits and withdrawals for USDt on the Kava blockchain, Bitfinex expands its support for USDt deposits and withdrawals to a total of 15 blockchains, including Algorand, Avalanche, Bitcoin Cash's Simple Ledger Protocol (SLP), Ethereum, EOS, Liquid Network, Omni, Polygon, Tezos, Tron, Solana, Polkadot, Kusama, the Near Network, and now, Kava.

Bitfinex will support USDt deposits and withdrawals on KAVA on July 3 , 2023, said the crypto platform in the latest announcement.
