Bitget Furthers EU Expansion, Completes VASP Registration in Poland

Singapore-based crypto exchange Bitget announced yesterday that it has successfully registered as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) in Poland, continuing expanding its foothold in the EU region.

With the latest registration, Bitget can operate legally in the Polish market, offering the local users a more secure and transparent trading experience.

"We understand that regulation is the future of the cryptocurrency industry if mainstream adoption is to be achieved. At Bitget, we always embrace and follow the various regulatory frameworks set forth for digital assets and actively cooperate with governmental bodies to bring upon a better ecosystem," said Gracy Chen, the Managing Director of Bitget.

Just last month, the exchange has completed its VASP registration in Lithuania​, one of the emerging digital asset markets in Europe. 

"The recent registrations in the two European countries enhance our foothold and service in Europe. By proactively working with policymakers and regulators across the EU and worldwide, Bitget aims to enable open access to crypto in a safe, responsible and compliant manner," Gracy Chen continued.
