BitGo Singapore Launches Regulated Digital Asset Services in APAC

BitGo Singapore Pte. Ltd, a subsidiary of BitGo, Inc., has officially launched to offer regulated digital asset custody, trading, settlement, and token management services across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This milestone follows its receipt of a Major Payment Institution License from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in August 2024.
The new entity's custody platform supports over 1,100 digital assets, providing 24/7/365 access to liquidity directly from cold storage through API, UI, and voice trading. Additionally, its Go Network aims to improve operational efficiency by facilitating instant fiat and crypto transfers, enhancing access to exchange liquidity without requiring pre-funding.
CEO Youngro Lee highlighted the company's mission, stating: "We are thrilled to launch BitGo Singapore and offer the APAC region a best-in-class suite of digital assets solutions and regulated infrastructure services. Our team is committed to providing our clients with the highest quality products and services while maintaining strict regulatory standards."
BitGo's APAC operations date back to 2015, with the new launch further consolidating its role in driving regional digital asset adoption.
