Bitpanda Secures New Crypto License in Germany

Bitpanda, a digital investment platform, announced that it has secured crypto licence from the German regulator BaFin. Bitpanda becomes the first European retail investment platform to receive a full licence from the German regulator BaFin for custody and proprietary trading of crypto assets.

With the new license, Bitpanda ia able to market and offer services in the German market. This is an important milestone for the company to create a fully regulated environment for crypto investments in Europe.

Earlier this year, Bitpanda has registered as a virtual currency exchange and digital asset custody service provider in Spain​ and officially entered into the Bank of Spain's registry for crypto firms on June 16.
