Bitpanda Welcomes Joshua Barraclough as CEO of Bitpanda Pro

Bitpanda, a digital investment platform, announced that it has secured Joshua Barracloug, as CEO of Bitpanda Pro. In his new position, Barraclough will be responsible for Bitpanda's exchange and institutional offerings and working on becoming the top exchange in Europe.

Barraclough brings over 10 years of experience in the global financial sector to the company. Prior to the appointment, he spent over 5 years at JPMorgan, where he joined in 2016 as Vice President, FinTech, Corporate and Investment Bank and recently served as co-head of digital innovation.

Earlier this year, Bitpanda has raised $263 million in a Series C funding round​, which was led by Valar Ventures with participation from Alan Howard and REDO Ventures, as well as existing investors LeadBlock Partners and Jump Capital.
