Blackstone Appoints Former Citigroup Executive to Lead Credit Unit

On July 9, Blackstone Inc. Appointed Tyler Dickson, the former global head of investment banking at Citigroup, to lead its credit and insurance unit. Dickson, boasting a distinguished 30-year career at Citi where he served as head of investment banking and vice chair of banking and international, brings extensive expertise in global finance and client relations to Blackstone.

In his new role, Dickson will oversee Blackstone Credit & Insurance's Institutional Client Solutions team, tasked with enhancing client relationships and bolstering BXCI's origination efforts worldwide. This appointment underscores Blackstone's commitment to expanding its footprint in the credit market, particularly as traditional bank financing tightens amidst rising interest rates and increased regulatory scrutiny.
