Blockmaze Receives Guinness World Records Title for over 40 Regulatory Licences at Launch

Blockmaze has been awarded a Guinness World Records title for securing the most financial regulatory licences at a blockchain ecosystem launch. The Blockmaze Foundation received the award at a ceremony attended by UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Guinness officials, and industry representatives.
Minister Al Zeyoudi stated the achievement bolsters the UAE's role as a hub for blockchain and Web3 innovation. The record acknowledges over 40 licences and registrations held across the Blockmaze ecosystem at its launch.
Blockmaze Co-Founder and CEO Tajinder Virk emphasized that bringing together more than 40 regulatory authorizations was a key foundation. He noted that true tokenisation requires a token to represent a legally recognized real-world asset and operate within regulated markets, necessitating robust regulatory and compliance infrastructure.
The company's platform integrates licensing, custody, payments, and compliance to support tokenised asset issuance across jurisdictions. Co-Founder and COO Puneet Mangla said the record reflects their work to build a regulated ecosystem, stating future tokenised finance will rely on trust and institutional-grade infrastructure.
Guinness World Records Adjudicator Mbali Nkosi confirmed the title was awarded for the largest number of approved financial licences held by a blockchain ecosystem at launch, following a review of the evidence.
