BMLL Expands Data Coverage to Include Canadian Market

BMLL Technologies (BMLL), the leading, independent provider of harmonized, historical Level 3 data and analytics, announced on Wednesday (December 13) that it has expanded its data coverage to include the Canadian market.
Data from major trading venues and exchanges in Canada, including the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), CBOE Canada, Nasdaq Canada, and Omega ATS, is now accessible to BMLL's clients.
Paul Humphrey, CEO of BMLL, stated: "Since securing our Series B funding just over a year ago, we have worked tirelessly to expand our coverage to include Japan, Australia, Singapore, China, Brazil, Tel Aviv, South Africa and now Canada. Canadian exchange operators are now able to analyze venue performance and liquidity dynamics against local and global peers."
BMLL secured investment from Snowflake Ventures in September and entered into a partnership with Snowflake to deliver granular data and analytics to market participants globally, following the $26m Series B investment from Nasdaq Ventures, FactSet, and IQ Capital in October 2022.
Paul further explained: "Market participants need a full picture of market quality, liquidity, and order dynamics to make better-informed decisions on the markets they trade and the venues they operate. This means that the demand for high-quality historic market data has grown exponentially as participants need to understand market behavior across jurisdictions."
In the past twelve months, BMLL has added data from a number of venues and exchanges worldwide, including South Africa data from JSE and A2X; Europe data from Aquis Stock Exchange; APAC data from CBOE Japan, Japannext, Singapore Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and Shanghai Stock Exchange; Australia data from ASX and Cboe Australia; South America data from Brazil Stock Exchange; and data from FINRA in the US.
