BMLL Names Rob Laible as Head of Americas, Plans to Open Office in New York

BMLL Technologies (BMLL), the leading, independent provider of harmonized, historical Level 3 data and analytics, today announced the appointment of Rob Laible as its Head of Americas with the plan to open a New York area-based office.
In his new role, Rob will report to Paul Humphrey, CEO of BMLL, and join the senior Leadership team to drive the company's US expansion, delivering on the firm's strategic priorities for the Americas and building a US based team to meet the increasing demand for BMLL's Level 3 data and analytics capabilities from US based clients.
Rob has over 30 years experience of running global institutional businesses across sales and trading, technology, compliance, risk and operations. Prior to BMLL, he had served at Liquidnet, a global institutional investment network, for more than 8 years, where his latest position was Global Head of Equities. Rob previously held important roles at several leading firms in the industry including Macquarie Group, Nomura Securities, Lehman Brothers and Investment Technology Group.

The new appointment follows BMLL's investment news last month, having secured $26 million in a funding round led by Nasdaq Ventures, FactSet (a global provider of integrated financial information), and IQ Capital's Growth Fund.
