BNY Appoints Ashvin Parkash as Head of APAC Global Markets Trading

​BNY has named Ashvin Parkash as the new head of global markets trading for the Asia Pacificregion. Based in Singapore, Parkash will focus on enhancing the firm's trading services for clients throughout the area.

With 25 years of experience in the financial industry, Parkash brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. Prior to joining BNY, he worked at Nomura, where he oversaw electronic distribution for fixed income and foreign exchange products.

Throughout his career, Parkash has held significant positions at leading financial institutions, including BNP Paribas, Citibank, and Lehman Brothers.

In his new position, Parkash will report to Jason Vitale, who heads global markets trading, as well as Nelius De Groot, the head of markets international. His appointment is expected to drive the expansion of BNY's global markets trading capabilities in the region.
