BNY Mellon | Pershing Integrates Real-Time Payments into Its NetXInvestor® Platform

BNY Mellon | Pershing, a leading provider of clearing and custody services, announced today the integration of Real-Time Payments (RTP) technology into its NetXInvestor® platform, an investor portal used by broker-dealer and registered investment advisor firms to help clients manage their portfolios.
RTP, developed by BNY Mellon, provides a new form of electronic money transfer that enables real-time deposits and withdrawals. With this offering, broker-dealers and investors can obtain around-the-clock and instant access to irrevocable and secure funds.
According to Carl Slabicki, Co-Head of Global Payments, Treasury Services, BNY Mellon, the company has made incredible progress in client satisfaction since the launch RTP. Besides, this offering helps protect the environment by reducing the negative impacts of paper-based processes.
"Automation and efficiency are high priorities for investment professionals and consumers, so we are continually innovating and adding to our suite of digital payables and receivables functions for NetXInvestor®, like this BNY Mellon-developed RTP technology," said Ram Nagappan, CIO of BNY Mellon | Pershing.
This collaboration follows the integration of BNY Mellon | Pershing's clearing and custody platform NetX360+® with the web-based version of the ICE Connect wealth management platform last month. The wealth management platform is offered by Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE), a leading global provider of data, technology and market infrastructure.
