FCA-regulated broker Black Pearl Securities Limited, which operates under the BP Prime brand, reported a significant downturn in its financial performance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. According to recently disclosed regulatory filings, the company saw revenues fall by 78% year-over-year, down from £16 million in FY2024 to just £3.5 million in FY2025.

The sharp decline also turned the company's previous profit of £849,000 into a net loss of £427,000. In its official statement, BP Prime attributed the drop to "the loss of several key clients," along with a weakening in retail product demand and intensified market competition in both the professional and retail CFD sectors.

At the end of FY2025, BP Prime reported net assets of £1.83 million, down from £2.25 million the prior year. The downturn followed a rebranding initiative in 2024, which included a new logo and a redesigned website.

Leadership changes also marked the fiscal year. Zuzana Hashemi, formerly Managing Director of BP Prime, stepped down from her role. She now leads Goldstone Group, a firm that shares ownership ties with BP Prime through Slovak entrepreneur Vladimir Gesperik. Gesperik, who resides in the UAE, also controls a number of other trading entities, including Golden Brokers, an offshore CFD broker based in Labuan.
