Branch Partners with Stripe to Launch Embedded Digital Wallet for Worker Payouts

Branch, a workforce financial infrastructure provider, has integrated with Stripe to serve as a new embedded digital wallet for worker payouts. The partnership enables companies to deploy customizable digital wallets and branded debit cards through Stripe Issuing.

The solution is designed for paying drivers, contractors, marketplace sellers, and frontline teams, offering workers instant access to funds alongside rewards and financial tools. Branch founder and CEO Atif Siddiqi stated that Stripe's integration of Branch into its Connect platform highlights growing demand for digital wallets and flexible payout options.

The worker-centric wallet automates instant payments and provides fee-free banking and cash-back rewards. Integrated into Stripe Connect, it requires minimal API development and no pre-funding from platforms, with Stripe managing the fund flows.

Sateesh Srinivasan, Product and Business Lead for Money Management, noted the integration allows platforms to handle complex payouts through Branch while offering workers branded cards via Stripe Issuing. The move consolidates Branch's position as a digital wallet provider for scaling enterprises, aiming to streamline financial transactions between companies and their workforces.
