Brian Mulcahy Promoted as Head of StoneX Digital

Fazzaco learned that StoneX Group Inc., a diversified global brokerage and financial services firm, has promoted Brian Mulcahy as Head of StoneX Digital, StoneX's new subsidiary offering digital assets-related products and services for the group's institutional clients.

StoneX Digital is expected to further enhance StoneX's ability to connect clients to the global financial markets and offer a broad array of financial products and institutional-grade platforms.

Mulcahy is an experienced business development professional in all aspects of capital markets. The promotion marks the latest upward move for Mulcahy, who originally joined StoneX in 2021 as Managing Director of Multi-Asset Business Development.

Prior to joining StoneX, Mulcahy spent over seven years at ED&F Man Capital Markets, a global independent financial brokerage business. He joined the company in 2013 as its Head of Business Development for the US and was later promoted to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Before that, he worked as Chief Operating Officer at MPS Global Securities, LLC. Earlier, he was the Senior Vice President of MF Global, a world leader in execution and clearing services. Mulcahy started his career in 2001, joining Calyon Securities (USA) Inc. and working as its Vice President.
