Bricknode Secures SEK 5 Million to Establish Licensed Brokerage Subsidiary

Bricknode, a leading SaaS financial services platform, announced it has secured a loan for SEK 5 million. The loan will support the company's initiative in establishing a licenced brokerage subsidiary including the required regulatory and operational capital.

Bricknode is a B2B-focused SaaS company that provides scalable, cloud-based software enabling financial companies to launch digital banking products at speed. 

Earlier in May, Bricknode announced that it would establish a wholly owned subsidiary and apply for a securities brokerage licence. The move will pave the way for Bricknode to carry out brokerage services for customers who lack their own regulatory permissions, and it's estimated the service could be operational by Q1 2023.

Bricknode helps companies offer their own investment products through its core brokerage software and technology platform, Bricknode Broker. Bricknode already provides brokerage software and technology to several firms that don't hold their own brokerage licence.
