Broadridge Bolsters Trading Tech Capabilities with Key Hire from JPMorgan

Broadridge Financial Solutions has appointed Munish Gautam as Global Head of Trading Platforms – Product Management, signaling a continued push to deepen its front-office trading technology for capital markets clients. Gautam, who spent more than 15 years at JPMorgan Chase overseeing global cash equities products, will lead Broadridge's trading platforms within the Trading & Connectivity Solutions division from London.

The hire underscores Broadridge's strategic effort to expand beyond its traditional back-office strengths. Brian Pomraning, Chief Product Officer for the unit, described Gautam as having "a proven track record developing and managing comprehensive trading solutions at a global scale." He added that Gautam's understanding of market structure and regulation will be "instrumental" in the firm's continued evolution.

Gautam expressed optimism about the firm's direction, citing a need for "low-latency cross-channel execution and adaptability" in today's regulatory environment. His career also includes roles at Credit Suisse and Cognizant, and he holds an MBA from IIM Bangalore and is a CFA charterholder.
