Broadridge Introduces GenAI-Powered OpsGPT to Enhance Post-Trade Lifecycle Operation

Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (Broadridge), a global Fintech leader, yesterday (January 11) announced the introduction of OpsGPT, a new tool designed to aid operations users, analysts, and management teams in enhancing their post-trade lifecycle operations.
According to Broadridge, OpsGPT, driven by Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLM) technology, leverages data from transactions, settlements, and positions to offer clients immediate access to real-time information, enabling them to swiftly address fails, plan future actions, and prioritize critical risk items through a single, user-friendly interface.
The fintech stated that this new solution is a direct response to industry and regulatory changes. Reduced settlement cycles, the continuous quest for efficiency, and increasing trading velocity are collectively creating significant stress on firms' legacy technology and operating models.
Vijay Mayadas, President of Capital Markets at Broadridge, said: "OpsGPT is the GenAI-powered-copilot that will simplify and optimize trading operations, generating a step change in productivity for operations teams, creating post-trade trade lifecycle event transparency and empowering users to swiftly remediate, reduce, and prevent risks. Leveraging automation to reduce manual intervention through OpsGPT will allow clients to operate at peak efficiency, despite changing regulations and market complexities."
The launch of OpsGPT further expands Broadridge's AI suits. Last November, the company rolled out two AI-enabled tools - DistributionAI and Global Demand Model - in response to the increased demand from asset managers to drive distribution efficiencies and optimize performance in an increasingly competitive environment.
