Bryan Seegers Resigns as Director of eFX Business Development at Citadel Securities

Bryan Seegers, Director of eFX Business Development at market maker Citadel Securities, has resigned from his position at the company. Mr. Seegers had been with Citadel, based in its New York office, since 2019.
Prior to joining Citadel, Bryan Seegers served as Senior Vice President eFX at investment bank Jefferies, where he was responsible for Global eFX Trading, Algo Execution, and Liquidity Management. His previous experience also includes roles at Retail FX and CFD brokers ADSS in Abu Dhabi, where he was Co-Head Global eFX, as well as Alpari and MultiBank.
Bryan Seegers posted a note on social media today, June 4, 2025, regarding his departure from Citadel. He wrote, "After ~6 years at Citadel Securities I have decided to resign from the firm." He further added, "It was not an easy decision leaving a successful business that I am proud to have been a part of building from the ground up." Seegers also expressed gratitude, stating, "I want to thank Joe and Kevin for their mentorship and support in bringing our vision to life. More importantly, I want thank our clients and partners for their trust in our team." He characterized the launch of an innovative product alongside a strong team as "one of my greatest career successes." Seegers concluded his note by indicating he plans to spend the summer on a "long overdue vacation from the markets," and looks forward to reconnecting soon.
