BTIG Promotes Andrew Maller and Paul Wood to Co-Heads of SPAC Investment Banking

The global financial services firm BTIG, has promoted Andrew Maller and Paul Wood to Co-Heads of SPAC Investment Banking.

Andrew Maller joined BTIG's SPAC Investment Banking group in September 2019 from a Canada-based global investment bank, RBC Capital Markets, where he worked for over 8 years. Maller's most recent position was in the Alternative Investors Group, where he was responsible for providing banking services to a variety of clients, including SPACs, family offices, alternative asset managers, diversified holding companies and high net worth individuals. He holds a BS in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business.

Paul Wood joined BTIG's SPAC Investment Banking group in October 2020. prior to BTIG, he spent nearly 15 years with Citi, where his latest role was Vice president of Prime Finance. Previously, he advised US Industrials and Aerospace & Defense clients within Citi's Corporate & Investment Bank. He started his career in 2006 as an Analyst and Associate in Citi. Paul earned his Bachelor's Degree of International Finance from University of Richmond - Robins School of Business in 2002, and gained his Master's Degree of Banking, Corporate Finance and Securities Law from Emlyon business school in 2005.
