Bybit Launches Zero-Commission Offer Across 380 Stock CFDs
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has introduced a limited-time promotion waiving commissions and rebating overnight financing costs on stock contracts for difference. The campaign, running from June 8 to July 10, 2026, applies to over 380 stock CFDs through its TradFi service.
The offer provides fee rebates rather than an upfront cost removal. Eligible users trading in Zero-Fee Mode can receive rebates on qualifying swap fees, capped at 2,000 USDT per user from a 100,000 USDT pool distributed first-come, first-served. Institutional users are excluded. Bybit’s stock CFD product offers up to 5x leverage and settles in USDT.
This move aligns with Bybit's expansion into real-world asset products, grouping traditional-market exposures like tokenized equities and precious metals under a dedicated RWA portal. The strategy reflects a broader crypto exchange trend to offer conventional assets on a single platform.
The exchange has also partnered with Backed's xStocks to list tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs, described as being backed one-to-one by underlying shares. Competition in tokenized equities intensified in 2025, with Kraken and Bybit offering such products to non-U.S. investors.
CFDs are considered high-risk by regulators, with leverage amplifying potential losses. This risk profile is pertinent when offered on crypto platforms. Regulatory regimes in the UK and Europe have imposed restrictions on retail CFD trading, emphasizing the importance of campaign disclosures.
Bybit's promotion excludes residents of numerous jurisdictions, including the U.S., Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and the European Economic Area. While the campaign may attract active traders, the product remains leveraged and jurisdiction-sensitive.
Market data shows growing activity in tokenized public equities, with distributed value reaching approximately $1.68 billion. For crypto exchanges, this creates an opening to blend leveraged CFDs, tokenized equities, and perpetual contracts, blurring the lines between crypto and multi-asset trading.
Bybit's zero-fee offer is part of a wider effort to position itself as a gateway between crypto and traditional markets. Its long-term success hinges on user adoption of stock-linked products within crypto accounts and the sector's ability to navigate regulatory scrutiny.
