The Institute for Public Policy Research, a well-known British research team, has issued a warning that the growing prominence of AI could potentially lead to unemployment for more than 8 million workers in the UK. This has caused further concern regarding employment, particularly within the financial services and technology sectors.

Indeed, the current job market does not appear to be favorable. As part of a global overhaul, Citigroup has laid off at least 10 people in its equities research department in Asia Pacific this week. Co-operative Bank, a British bank, has also announced its plans to reduce costs by cutting 400 employees, which accounts for 12% of its total workforce.

However, there are still numerous companies that are seizing development opportunities and planning to expand their operations, thereby creating additional job opportunities. One such example is Plus500, a prominent forex broker, which intends to broaden its business reach to Israel and establish an office in Haifa. Furthermore, Tether, the issuer of the largest stablecoin globally, is establishing a specialized department focused on artificial intelligence (AI). To support this initiative, they have commenced a recruitment campaign to fill the necessary positions.

Global multi-asset brokerage frim CAPEX.com is searching for a Head of Business Intelligence who work closely with each head of department to understand the business needs and implement an information architecture to support data-driven decisions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, IT or Computer Science;

• 5-7 years of experience in a role from Business Intelligence/ Business Analyst on data/reporting/ Project Manager on data projects, preferably with previous experience as a team leader;

• Sound business knowledge and familiarity with concepts and processes in the financial services/investment industry;
