Capital.com, COTI Group, Pepperstone and Other Four Companies Are Hiring Now

Should the economy persistently remain weak, the financial industry may brace itself for another surge of job cuts.
Wall Street Banks are still cutting jobs. PNC Financial said on Wednesday that it is cutting about 4% of its workforce. Wells Fargo, which has reduced headcount for every quarter since the third quarter of 2020, still sees more opportunities for layoffs, its CEO Charlie Scharf said last Friday. Besides, Citigroup unveiled that it would eliminate jobs from the two upper layers of management as part of its reorganization.
The sign of a slowdown in financial services sector also landed Canada. On Wednesday, Bank of Nova Scotia, announced its plans to cut about 2,700 jobs globally, 3% of its workforce. The layoffs appear to be the biggest among Canadian banks. Royal Bank of Canada and Bank of Montreal similarly have cut hundreds of jobs in response to rising costs in a high interest rate environment. Furthermore, Montreal-based financial services conglomerate Desjardins made a "difficult decision" to cut about 0.6% of its workforce, or almost 400 people.
KPMG, a well-known accounting firm that has long served the financial industry, has unfortunately been affected by workforce reductions. A Source said on Tuesday that the specialist is planning to cut about 100 jobs in its deal advisory business in the UK. In addition, the leading business and employment-focused social media platform LinkedIn is laying off about 668 employees across various teams, the Microsoft-owned company announced on Monday. It's the second time LinkedIn has announced cuts this year.
Given the state of the broader economy, the current employment environment is far from ideal. However, Fazzaco finds there are multiple financial firms, brokerages and crypto firms in particular, are strengthening their marketing, BD or other teams with new hires. Let's look at what jobs they're offering and what are their responsibilities.
