capital.com Promotes Christoforos Soutzis to Group Chief Risk Officer

Fazzaco learned that capital.com​, a FCA-licensed Forex broker, has promoted Christoforos Soutzis to Group Chief Risk Officer. In his new role, Mr Soutzis will oversee the Risk, Trading and Dealing team across the globe.

As seen on his LinkedIn profile, Mr Soutzis was promoted from Head of Risk Management, a position he held for nearly four and half years which was based in Cyprus. Prior to capital.com, he worked as Risk Manager at IronFX, where he held several roles within the company. Additionally, Mr Soutzis once served as Actuarial Analyst at Matrix Insurance & Reinsurance Broker, where he was responsible for actuarial risk management, evaluation of risk transfer solutions and risk optimization.

Mr Soutzis is a graduate of University of Leeds with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and holds a master's degree in Actuarial Science from Cass Business School.
