Cboe Global Markets Reports Trading Volumes in November 2021

Cboe Global Market, one of the leading global market operators and trading solution providers, has posted its trading volumes for the month of November across its global business lines.

According to the report, the company's Multiply-Listed Options average daily volume (ADV) came in at 11,436,000 contracts, 24.4 percent higher than the same period of the prior year and 11.2 percent higher than the prior month. In terms of Index Options, the ADV rose to 2,167,000 contracts, up 30.3 percent compared to November 2020's 1,663,000 contracts.

During the last month, the Futures ADV jumped to 237,000 contracts, up 35.6 percent compared to the previous year. As for the Global FX, Cboe Global Markets reported a decrease of 4.3 percent in the average daily notional value (ADNV) compared to the same period in 2020.

However, US Equities (on-exchange matched share) total ADV dropped by 14.7 percent compared to November 2020. And Canadian Equities ADV also dropped by 5.3 percent compared to the same period last year.

As Fazzaco reported earlier, Cboe Global Market has agreed to acquire Aequitas Innovations​, a fintech more commonly known as NEO, to strengthen its global equities offering.
