Cboe Appoints Prashant Bhatia to Lead Strategy and Corporate Development

Cboe Global Markets, Inc. has named Prashant Bhatia as Executive Vice President, Head of Enterprise Strategy & Corporate Development. The appointment takes effect September 2, 2025.

Bhatia will work with Cboe's executive leadership to sharpen the company's business strategy and pursue opportunities for growth. The exchange operator described the role as central to strengthening its competitive positioning and long-term performance.

"Prashant will be a highly valued addition to our leadership team as he works with us to refine our strategy, optimize our business, and explore new growth opportunities for Cboe," said Craig Donohue, Cboe's Chief Executive Officer. He added that Bhatia's experience and disciplined approach to financial decision-making would support shareholder value.

Bhatia has been advising Cboe's board since late 2023. Prior to that, he oversaw Enterprise Strategy & Corporate Development at TD Ameritrade for more than a decade, during which the firm pursued a mix of organic expansion and acquisitions. Earlier in his career, he covered brokers and asset managers as an equity research analyst.

Reflecting on his appointment, Bhatia said he looked forward to joining "Cboe's impressive leadership team" and collaborating to identify opportunities that would "position Cboe for continued success." His career spans more than 30 years in financial services across global markets.
