Cboe FX Trading Volume Drops 11.8% MoM for December 2023

Cboe Global Markets, the world's leading derivatives and securities exchange network, updated the trading data of its institutional spot FX platform for the last month of 2023, recording a trading volume of $$890.45 billion, up 15.2% compared to $773.08 billion in December 2022 and down 11.8% compared to $1,009.99 billion in November 2023.
In December 2023, the average daily volume (ADV) on the institutional FX trading venue ame in at $44.52 billion, an increase of 26.7% compared to $35.14 billion in the same period of 2022 and a decrease of 3.0% compared to $45.91 billion in the prior month.
Cboe FX Markets is an electronic communication network designed specifically for the institutional foreign exchange market, serving as a platform for banks, hedge funds, and high-frequency traders, among other institutional entities, to participate in currency trading.
