Cboe FX Trading Volume in October Rises to $1.02T

The institutional spot FX platform of Cboe Global Markets (Cboe), a leading provider of global market infrastructure and tradable products, unveiled that its total trading volume reached $1.02 trillion in October 2023, 8.5 percent higher over September 2023's $952 billion.
On a yearly basis, the figure increased 15 percent against $896 billion in October 2022.
The platform's average daily trading volume for October came in at $46.75 billion, rising from $45.33 billion in the prior month and $42.7 billion in the last same period.
In the third quarter of the year, Cboe FX trading volume was $2.8 trillion, up 4.5 percent from the second quarter. The average daily volume went up from $41.5 billion to $43.3 billion.
In September 2023, Cboe's global FX ADV stood at $46.4 billion, up 10.2 percent month-on-month. Besides, the global FX ADV for Q3 recorded $44.4 billion, an increase of 4.5 percent.
