Cboe Global Markets Names Global Head of Derivatives, and Global Head of Data and Access Solutions

Cboe Global Markets (Cboe), the leading exchange network for global derivatives, foreign exchange (FX), digital asset and securities trading solutions, announced on Wednesday (October 11, 2023) that it has appointed Catherine Clay as Global Head of Derivatives, a new role for the organization, and elevated Adam Inzirillo to Global Head of Data and Access Solutions.

Catherine has spent around eight years at Cboe altogether. Most recently, she was Global Head of Data and Access Solutions and Digital. In the new role, she will focus on further strengthening and building out Cboe's global derivatives network and customer base.

"Cathy successfully led the global expansion of Cboe's Data and Access Solutions business. Her track record at Cboe, coupled with her depth and breadth of experience in the trading industry and derivatives space specifically, make her the ideal leader to assume this new position," commented David Howson, Global President of Cboe.

Prior to the new position, Adam has been with Cboe for more than four years as Head of North American Equities. He will oversee Cboe market data and access services, global indices, risk and market analytics and execution solutions services.

"Under Adam's leadership, our Equities business brought many new client-driven solutions to the market. With Adam’s promotion, I'm excited to see the future innovations that are developed for our DnA business as we seek to meet global client demand for data and access solutions to our markets," added David Howson.

Shortly before, Fazzaco reported that Cboe unveiled the updated trading volume statistics​ across its global business lines for September 2023 and the third quarter ended September 30, 2023, seeing stable growth in average daily volume (ADV) of FX.
