Cboe reported its trading volume for September 2020
The market operator and global trading solutions provider Cboe Global Markets (Cboe) reported its September monthly trading volume on this Monday.
According to the statistics, Cboe disclosed a total trading volume for Option contract at 214 million, which was up 34% year-on-year from $159 million trading volume on the same month a year earlier, and 6.4% up compared with last month $201 million.
As to Futures, the total trading volume reached are $4.11 million with 13% drop compared with 4.73 million for September 2019 and increased 10.5% from the previous month’s volumes. However, the ADV trading volume saw a significant decrease of 17.2% down on a year-on-year comparison.
For the FX trading, the total trading volume achieved in September 2020 at $702 billion, 16.5% higher than last month and 10.1% higher than last year. The average daily volume on the FX trading was $31.9 billion,11.2% up than August for it had 22 trading days.
